Hello there! We are John and Tracy and we are so delighted that you stopped by. The two of us are couple and a team of professional photographers here to serve you and celebrate your life events with you. We both share an incredible love for people and relationships

John is the owner and founder of John Dukes Photography LLC. He is an active member of the KelbyOne Community and is a certified and fully trained photographer with Professional Photographers of America. John is also a US Navy Veteran and a 30-year employee of Verizon Communications. John retired from Verizon Communications after 30 years of service with the company and is now doing photography full time. In addition to doing portrait photography, John is also an avid nature lover and he loves to travel the world to beautiful places to capture landscape, wildlife and cityscape photography of this incredibly beautiful world we live in. His award winning work has been featured in Photoshop User Magazine where his work was recognized as a Member Spotlight. John's work is also displayed in restaurants, hotels, homes and offices all over the United States and the world. Tracy is the Creative Director for John Dukes Photography LLC and she is John's life partner and business partner. Tracy graduated from Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, IN with a BS in interior design and art. Tracy has been exposed to photography all her life and she is extremely creative. Starting at a very young age, Tracy spent many hours alongside her dad, who is also a professional photographer, photographic educator and photographic artist. Tracy has spent time in her father's darkroom with him, learning about photo processing and developing, along with professional photography lighting. Tracy loves people, and she is passionate about being a mom. She also loves traveling and nature and she has a love for animals, both pets (especially cats) and wildlife.

While our specialty is wedding and engagement photography, we also capture newborn and maternity photos, family portraits, senior portraits, proms and graduations, corporate headshots and special events. We have a photography studio located in Mount Airy, MD and we have all the expertise, equipment and props to tell your story in a creative and memorable way.
